All Kooks Headers are constructed from 304L Stainless Steel Tubing. The flange plates are 304L Stainless Steel with a +/- of .375 thickness for maximum sealing and durability. (All headers are tig welded and port matched). The headers were designed with two considerations in mind, the first was easy installation and the second was maximum horsepower and torque for added performance. The collectors have venture spikes in the inside for maximum efficiency. The headers can be ordered with our without emission fittings.

They can be produced in many different configurations depending on what you need.
This quick reference will give you an idea of what will work best for your application

1 3/4" - Best for bolt-on cars or if your running a head/cam upgrade
1 7/8" - These work great with stroker motors
1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stepped - Perfect for BIG cam, supercharger or nitrous.
1 7/8" to 2" stepped - Big Cubic Inch, N20, Full Race (3.5" Collectors)

The Y-Pipe systems that are offered are made from 16 gauge aluminized (OEM) material for strength and durability. The design was made for maximum ground clearance and performance utilizing the markets best catalytic converters for the highest flow in the industry, While still being able to pass the toughest emission tests. The merge y connection is blended together for the highest exhaust velocity possible for unsurpassed performance. They include welded on O2 Bungs for the front O2 sensor hookups
