1300hp 2006 C6 Z06 Corvette
HOB LSR Cog Drive System with F2 ProCharger




After rigourous design and development, we are proud to announce the debut of our new cog-driven race kit for C6 Corvettes. Corvettes are known to fight belt issues when trying to push the envelope and make big horsepower. A standard ribbed serpentine belt can only take so much load before it starts to slip, squeal, jump, or break.

So when a customer approached us wanting to build a Z06 that would be capable of beating the current record for the worlds fastest C6 Corvette, we took action to make that goal a reality. This Corvette came to us with a ProCharger D1SC supercharger system already on it, but in order to make the power it would take to propel a C6 Corvette into the 8’s, we would definitely need to upgrade the blower system.

We did some brainstorming and concluded that we weren’t going to waste our time on a serpentine belt drive and started designing a cogged race kit that will run a 50mm wide cog belt. Fast forward a couple months of design, development, prototyping, and testing, and we are proud to announce another House of Boost forced induction product.

Along with the new drive system, we built and installed a fully-forged LS7 short block, custom intercooler system, a brand new House of Boost/Aeromotive fuel system capable of supporting 1600+hp, an electric water pump cooling system, custom race exhaust, and a built RPM 4L80E automatic transmission. The end result was a House of Boost Z06 that makes 1103 rwhp and 949 rwtq at 6400 rpms on 23lbs of boost.

After dyno tuning, we put the car into a trailer and headed down to Baton Rouge for track testing. Although we fought some shifting issues out of the gate, the car still went 153 mph out the back door on a soft launch and having to lift twice. There’s plenty left in it, but unfortunately rain came in and ended out weekend early. In the end, everyone was still impressed on how well the prototype drive system performed and we are already taking orders for other projects.

The car is due back to the shop to finish up some odds and ends on the car, and then back to the track to go after the record! In the meantime, call House of Boost today for details on how to turn your C6 into a 1300hp street car!
